**About**:
Under the responsibility of the Manager of the Contract Validation Center, the Contract Validation Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the complete validation of all financing deals before their funding to ensure their compliance. This person will work in collaboration with the various departments (sales, credit, operations, accounting, etc.) in order to efficiently process deals and provide excellent service to our partners while ensuring that contracts comply with policies and company procedures.
**Responsibilities**:
- Validation of audit assignment/syndication related documentation and structured transactions as described in the Structured Deal Policy;
- Validation of registrations/security;
- Entering or validating transactional data in front-end system, ensuring data integrity is maintained;
- Verifying pricing and tax treatment;
- Work with credit/legal counsel/documentation team to ensure all conditions have been met prior to funding submission;
- Providing coaching and feedback to the Sales Support team when validating their submissions;
- Obtain authorizations from credit/legal counsel/documentation team for sign-offs on special circumstances;
- Assisting in preparation and updates to Policies & Procedures documentation as required;
- Provide ongoing support to our internal/external partners and credit on various issues that may arise;
- Provide feedback and input for optimizing efficiency and procedures, could include working with Operations or IT team to resolve;
- Training other team members as required;
- Any other related tasks.
**The profile we are looking for**:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in similar role;
- Bilingual (English and French) to serve clients from all provinces;
- Post-secondary studies in administration or law;
- Good problem solving skills;
- Ability to work in a team setting and collaborate with other teams;
- Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Outlook;
- High attention to detail;
- Ability to think critically, recognize issues as they arise, and propose solutions;
- Ability to multi-task and good management of priorities.
