**Research Analyst, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR)**
We are an independent consultancy in Vancouver British Columbia specializing in patient-centered research, epidemiology, evidence synthesis, and health economics. Our team comprises qualitative researchers, epidemiologists, health economists, statisticians, and IT specialists. Our projects are led by senior team members with extensive experience across a wide range of HEOR studies. We have an expansive network of external academic and clinical experts who collaborate on studies that lie within their core areas of expertise.
We are looking to hire a junior level research analyst to support a variety of study types including systematic reviews, observational studies, health economic and epidemiologic research projects, qualitative research, and survey-based studies.
Responsibilities will include:
- General research support
- Communicating study results through developing slide decks, writing proposal, protocols, reports, and contributing to scientific publications
- Statistical analysis and data visualization (dependent on experience and training)
- Assisting with client communications
And potentially, based on skillset and interests, contributing to the design and implementation of:
- Systematic literature reviews (SLRs)
- Network meta-analysis (NMAs)
- Epidemiologic study design and models
- Qualitative research studies
- Stated-preference and other survey-based research studies
- Economic models
**Education**:
- This position requires the successful applicant hold an MSc or PhD in Epidemiology, Health Economics, Statistics, Biostatistics, or Public Health, or equivalent experience
**Experience**:
- One to two years of health research experience in a consultancy (ideal) or academic work environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required; familiarity with a statistical or data visualization package would be an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Expectations:
- Strong independent working skills
- Organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently within a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

**Salary**: $44,238.18-$85,189.79 per year
