**Chinook Equipment** is looking for a** Service Coordinator **to join their growing team in **Taber, Alberta**. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Service Coordinator will work closely with the Shop Foreman and Service Team and be **responsible for work order creation, warranty submission, appointment booking and establishing long-term customer relations serviced by highly skilled technicians.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee and administer warranty claims, ensuring all details are met and in compliance with manufacture guidelines and conditions
- Schedule and book service work appointments both in the shop and in the field to provide timely service for our customers
- Speak with customers as required to explain repairs, billing and resolve complaints
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty and generate referrals
- Maintain effective communication within the department and with other leaders in the dealership; working together to identify opportunities and resolve issues
- Establish and maintains good working relationships with our vendors
- Work towards further growing Service/Parts presence in Alberta

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Experience working with Agriculture Equipment and/or Heavy Equipment is considered a strong asset
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership setting is also considered a strong asset
- A team player committed to working with all stakeholders of the business to ensure goal alignment and achievement
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with a continuous improvement pedigree
- Results driven with exceptional planning, organization and execution skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills including the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees
- Mechanical knowledge/aptitude and the ability to convey technical information to customers when providing service
- Knowledge and understanding of the overall functioning of a Service department and the day-to-day operations
