MacEwan University is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a full-time continuing opportunity with the School of Continuing Education.

The Marketing Coordinator at the School of Continuing Education (SCE). You will support marketing operations, research, projects and activities relating to marketing and campaigns. You will also be responsible to effectively marketing and promoting all programs delivered by the SCE.

Key responsibilities include:

- Working directly with the Marketing Manager to determine marketing plans and priorities for the School;
- Providing a project management role in setting up campaigns, projects and events;
- Developing marketing content using social media, Google, e-newsletters, print, video and other mediums;
- Adhering to the Office of Communications and Marketing branding and communications guidelines;
- Reviewing environmental scans relating to marketing and the labour market;
- Creating and presenting reports from scans, surveys and analytics;
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather comprehensive information and insights, ensuing a clear understanding of their needs and requirements to effectively execute marketing strategies and complete projects; and
- Updating website and content in support of relationships with key partners (agents, partnering organizations).

**SKILLS**:
You will have:

- A strong understanding and experience with using social media platforms;
- Experience with writing, setting up and reporting on digital advertising campaigns (paid and organic) like Google, Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, etc. (additional platforms are an asset);
- Sound project management skills while working with internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience with market research for analyzing industry trends;
- Strong reporting, tracking, optimizing and analysis skills with Google Analytics, to inform future ad strategies;
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading abilities;
- Effective creative writing/copy writing and interpersonal communication skills;
- The ability to work independently and maintain accountability to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members;
- Proficiency in Canva or related design tools, understanding of Adobe Creative suite would be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of design principles; and
- A highly organized and adaptable approach, enabling you to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting competing deadlines effectively.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a relevant field.
- A minimum 2 years of experience in marketing and communications.
- Experience working with comprehensive CRM tools in a large organization would be considered an asset, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience creating marketing strategies tailored to international audiences (experience understanding diverse cultures).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
