Installation Technician

West Coast Robotics is a leading specialist in the sale and installation of robotics automation solutions in the dairy industry. We help dairy farmers improve their operational efficiency. We are excited about our ongoing growth and are seeking to add an Service and Installation Technician for our robotics installation and technologist team.
**The Position**:
You will be working on developing solutions for milking and feeding robotics installation and service requirements. You are mechanically inclined with an interest in robotics. This is a hands-on position that focuses on technical solutions using some pretty amazing robotics technology. You will interact with the installation team, addressing solutions for individual installation automated feeding requirements at our head office location and on-site on Fraser Valley dairy farm operations.
Experience working as a mechanic and/or mechanical technologist and clear experience with and passion for working with mechanical parts are preferred.
**Position Requirements**:
To be considered for this role, you should have the following skills and background:
- Experience in a relevant mechanical or electrical trade OR a combination of experience and education
- Experience with PLC programming and/or AutoCAD technology (an asset but not required)
- Hands-on mentality - this position requires installation troubleshooting
- Familiarity with the dairy and broader farming industry is an asset
- Exceptional communication skills
- Willingness to work in the Fraser Valley region
- Driver license in good standing
