**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
We are looking for a detail oriented and independent Intermediate Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and maintenance of material resources for the Wing Group Company. You must have strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines while maintaining accurate records. In addition, you will exercise strong interpersonal skills and effectively build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

**DAY IN THE LIFE OF**:
- Manage supplier on time delivery supporting manufacturing needs and finished goods delivery plans.
- Monitor and balance inventory levels according to the supply risk and manufacturing needs, aiding improvement of re-order points and effective elimination of SLOB (slow moving and obsolescent) raw materials.
- Placing and managing purchase orders for raw materials with preferred suppliers via MRP ensuring price and material specifications are met.
- Expedite or de-expedite deliveries indicated by Supply Planning system and maintaining change notices in ERP system.
- Manage and review commodities to reduce cost, lead time, consolidate spend and price increases mitigation with existing suppliers.
- Maintain and ensure all prices, supplier data, open order confirmations, are accurate and current in ERP system.
- Establish and uphold professional supplier relationships.
- Maintain focus on supplier capacities and facilitate a collaborative working relationship with Suppliers.
- Ensure approval of Purchase Order’s (PO’s) are obtained as per delegation of authority, prior to PO issuance to supplier.
- Ability to assess and implement inventory strategies as required to optimize stock levels.
- Proactively communicate/escalate potential issues or interruptions in material supply to key internal customers.
- Investigate and resolve non-conforming raw materials issues with suppliers and internal customers.
- Support Accounts Payable, Receiving, Logistics, Customs & Tariffs, Quality & Product teams and Suppliers to resolve issues and discrepancies.
- Support sourcing activities for alternative suppliers minimizing supply risk and securing lowest cost, highest quality materials.
- Support for projects and /or additional tasks as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Certification in ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management) or/and CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) is preferrable.
- Minimum 2-3 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment is preferrable.
- Excellent communication skill in both verbal and written.
- Ability to adapt and work well in a continuously changing and dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills to establish priorities.
- Experience with ERP systems required; NetSuite, experience preferred.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail, great attendance, and professionalism.
