Reporting to the Sr Marketing Manager, the Brand Manager role is a career opportunity to grow within the industry and Motif Labs’ powerhouse of brands. This role is accountable for delivering brand business objectives by implementing brand strategies and initiatives with cross-functional teams.

**Company**

Motif Labs is a licensed cannabis extraction facility located in SW Ontario. Motif has 3 top-selling internal brands BoxHot, Floresense and Debunk. As well as operating a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing serviced to Licensed Producers (LP’s) and 3rd Party Brands. As part of Motif’s expansion plans, we are seeking dynamic and professional individuals to join our team. **Position Overview**:
**Building Brand Equity**
- Leads Floresense and Boondocks brands and strengthens brand equity measures (i.e: share of the market, packaging assessment, price assessment, innovation pipeline)
- Understands how the brand fits into the portfolio in developing the brand strategy.
- Ensures all brand programs are consistent with agreed Brand Foundations
- Defines brand product quality strategy, packaging, and pricing strategy.
- Responsible for measuring and monitoring the brand performance ongoing.
- Recommends action plans & course
- correct when customer, competitive or external environment changes.
- Support Sr Marketing Manager in the strategic development and execution of annual Marketing plans including new products, advertising, consumer promotions, merchandising, digital and social media.
- Work with the internal creative team and resources to develop and execute new products, packaging, advertising, promotional materials point of sale and sales collateral materials that support key marketing initiatives
- Awareness of competitive activity in the retail environment, through in-store, digital and social.
- Awareness of social media activity related to all brands within the portfolio.

**Project Management**
- Ensures that all projects, related to the brand are delivered effectively.
- Prioritize brand projects and allocate resources appropriately.
- Delivers quality and timeliness projects.
- Establish and maintain marketing budget reconciliation and spend tracking on a monthly basis.
- Maintain the marketing calendar.

**Digital transformation**
- Defines digital strategy and CRM.
- Work in collaboration with the cross-functional team on media partnerships with Key Accounts and other channels.
- Develop content strategy for all brands.
- Responsible for measuring and monitoring digital performance

**Collaboration & Integration**: Lead cross-functional and partner working teams which include but are not limited to the internal creative team, specialty agencies, sales, R&D and other business departments fostering and building a strong multi-functional team. Collaboration, alignment, and influence with multiple stakeholders are key to success

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary Degree in Business or Marketing
- 3-5 years of work experience.
- Minimum 1-year experience as Assistant Brand Manager or Brand Manager in a consumer-packaged goods environment
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as an outstanding aptitude for time management
- Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
- Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

**WORKING CONDITIONS (HYBRID)**:
This is a hybrid role where you will need to be on site at our **production facility in Aylmer, Ontario** with some flexibility to work remotely. Motif provides all required PPE and has continued all safety protocols: a well-fitted mask must be worn at all times while inside our production areas and staff are to remain 2M+ apart.
