**Overview**
Reporting to the Procurement Leader, the Biomass Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement and planning of incoming biomass. As a well-organized individual, you will be the involved in various aspects of the commercialization and operational business units.

**Responsibilities**
- Interacting with various internal and external teams to support the growing needs and allocations of biomass.
- Assisting in PO tracking and receipt.
- Assisting in new product launches to ensure adequate supplies are sourced and stock levels maintained.
- Ensuring an accurate flow of information to supporting departments when any clarification is required as part of production.
- Sourcing and tracking vendors for all biomass and third-party filler requirements.
- Meeting with production and commercial departments to ensure timelines set by purchase orders are on track and identify any risks.
- Conduct daily tracking updates and monitoring systems related to purchasing
- Maintain and control vendor files as they relate to cost, quantity, quality, and specifications
- Assist in developing min order quantities, reorder scheduling and delivery timelines
- Work across multiple departments on expected incoming material and verify invoices
- Source competitive pricing and complete cost comparison initiatives
- Actively participate and engage in continuous improvement strategies and cost reduction initiatives
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Min 2 years experience in supporting stages of the product development lifecycle
- Experience within Cannabis industry is considered an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Positive attitude with strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize
- Shows initiative and ownership of work and willingness to learn
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
- Experience working with D365 an asset
- Required to complete and pass a criminal background check (at offer stage)

**Working Conditions (on-site)**
This role is performed on site in our Aylmer, Ontario location and Motif provides all required PPE and has continued manufacturing safety protocols: a well-fitted mask must be worn while inside our production areas.
**Schedule**
- “Half Continental” rotating shift schedule (Days ONLY): 4 days one week, 3 days the following week, including weekends
- Sunday through to Saturday (7-day operation). Hours are 7:30am - 8:00pm (12.5 hours)
- Breaks are: three 30 min breaks to be broken up based on team needs and discussed with Supervisor/Manager
