Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Maintain ongoing maintenance operation for hotel, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventive maintenance, hotel rooms, A/C units, ice machines, pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.
- Ensure projects are completed according to specifications and on time by studying work schedules and estimating worker-hour requirements for completion. Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Work closely with Housekeeping and Front Desk to ensure coordination of activities. May confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
- Order material and completing assignments by a specified date.
- Analyze and resolve work problems, or assist workers in solving problems. Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers.
- Interprets specifications, job orders, and company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules, recommends measures to improve production.
- Troubleshooting and set up of machines and equipment.
- All other duties assigned by management.

**The qualifications for this position are as follows**:

- Ability to work in a team setting with little or no supervision.
- 1 year experience in the maintenance field and experience in the plumbing, electrical, and painting trades; OR, an equivalent combination of education & experience.
- Starting wage will be based on previous experience, skills, and abilities.
- Commitment to succeed in a team-oriented environment.
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
