S. Burnett & Associates Limited (SBA) is an established engineering and environmental consulting firm that has built a reputation for delivering strong project management and consultation services for Municipal, First Nation, and private sector clients. SBA is currently looking for a talented individual to join our growing team as a Project and Proposal Coordinator. This role will provide the opportunity to work with a team of professionals who contribute to meaningful projects for communities across Ontario. You will collaborate with colleagues from a variety of backgrounds and have the opportunity to work closely with clients to achieve long-term project successes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental, project management, or other relevant discipline and professional experience.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, creating customized written content for engineering or construction proposals, understanding of the proposal lifecycle, and content management.
- Ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical decision makers and engineers in the same situation while communicating in language that each group understands.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong time-management skills, highly organized, and has self-initiative to meet stringent deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat (PDF).

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify appropriate opportunities to pursue company proposal work using Merx, Biddingo, Bids&Tenders, and other websites, as well as Community-led needs.
- Working with First Nation communities and Municipal clients on a variety of infrastructure, environmental, energy, and planning projects.
- Assist with the coordination of infrastructure and planning projects from feasibility and design up until the construction phase.
- Editing and revising proposals according to notes given by senior staff in a timely manner.
- Conduct formatting and finalization of proposals according to company branding templates/guidelines to ensure consistency and comprehension.
- Aid in creating graphics and visuals per project request; including cover pages and organizational charts.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to offer suggestions for improvements or ways to streamline processes.
- Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering and coordinating requirements with contributors.
- Leading community and client engagement, including developing and delivering presentations.
