RockHead Beer Wine Spirits is a North End staple. Our Beer, Wine & Liquor store is located in the heart of Halifax, and was named after a Halifax prison which was home to local drunkards, delinquents, and ruffians for over 100 years. We are locally owned and operated, and we have a vast and interesting selection of craft beer, specialty wines, and premium spirits. Our unique selection includes locally and internationally sourced products from around the world. RockHead Beer Wine Spirits is nestled in the Windsor Street Sobeys, and we have a little something for every occasion and price range. **Position Overview**

As a Team Lead at RockHead Beer Wine Spirits, you will be responsible for leading the team in the absence of the store managers, ensuring smooth daily operations, and providing exceptional customer service. This role includes key responsibilities such as opening and closing the store, empowering team members, and maintaining a high standard of store presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and motivate the team in the absence of the store managers.
- Open and close the store, ensuring security and operational readiness.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers in finding the perfect products.
- Train and develop team members to enhance their product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures.
- Handle cash and perform end-of-day financial reconciliations.
- Address and resolve any customer or staff issues promptly and effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Have prior retail or customer service experience - Wine, beer & spirit knowledge is an asset
- Ability to work as early as 6am on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment
- Able to lift up to 20kg (50lbs)
- Team player
- Excellent work ethic and dedication
