We are hiring a **Full-Time Program Supervisor** to join our team. While reporting to the Director of Transitional, Mental Health, & Support Services, this full-time position provides opportunities to put your creativity, staff development and service knowledge to work. In this role, you will work closely with staff, members, families, and local community partners to increase service opportunities, reduce barriers, and manage resources to support member’s efforts to achieve their goals.

THE ROLE:
- Supervises, monitors, disciplines, evaluates, trains all Program staff and recommends disciplinary actions to HR and Program Director.
- Performs supervisory on-call duty and is available for the purpose of consultation and response in the event of an emergency.
- Reviews and evaluates all relevant documentation in relation to the assigned program and ensures compliance with Agency Policies.
- Monitors and summarizes behavioral/treatment data as well as assists members and staff in the completion of treatment facility work assignments.
- Coordinates, chairs and participates in various meetings and/or committees as related to member, employee, professional development goals or Program needs.
- Discusses with primary staff and assists staff in the coordination of members’ support needs to ensure their health, safety and welfare.
- Corresponds orally and in written form with families, staff, other agencies and professionals for information sharing, brainstorming and overall member program development.
- Ensures regular reporting regarding maintenance of assigned programs, material property including equipment, appliances, furnishings and vehicles, to ensure Health & Safety, and the overall appearance of the programs.
- Implements and maintains safety rules and regulations, including monthly health and safety inspections to ensure safety compliance for all assigned programs as per Ministry Compliance.
- Takes all reasonable precautions for the safety of staff and members.
- Experience working and managing people living with serious mental health is an asset.
- Case management experience is an asset
- Performs any other related duties as assigned by Program Director or delegate.
**WHAT YOU BRING: *
- Degree or diploma in the developmental sector study, Social worker degree, University Degree in a related field or other relevant post-secondary education.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience post graduate working with individuals with disabilities or working in the mental health sector.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience.
- Experience and understanding of Applied Behavioural Analysis.
- Driver’s license and own vehicle required.
- Must maintain current, valid and on-going certifications in mandatory courses offered by VITA such as: Abuse training, Back Care, First Aid, Fire Safety, Safe Management, Pharmacology and WHMIS.

Hours of Work:
80 hours biweekly (working flexible hours including evenings and weekends
based on program and member needs, as well as on-call responsibilities working one weekend a month and evenings).
**Rate of Pay**: Salary $58,000 to $68,000
**Job Location**: Toronto and York Regions
