**Hours**
- 40 to 44 hours/week, Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday shifts
- Overtime hours may be required depending on business needs

**Position Summary**

Canusa/APC focuses on fostering a long-lasting relationship with our customers and establish connections built on trust, transparency, and dedication. The primary objective of this role is to oversee all activities with respect to the store and staff while ensuring sales and profitability targets are met or exceeded. The individual will be responsible for the daily running and management of the operations of the store, including inventory, receiving and shipping, and employee relations,

through effective use of resources with the responsibility of setting and exceeding customer service goals. As a Manager, the individual should strive to meet or exceed job requirements, perform direct requests and set an example for the rest of the staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Payroll and scheduling staff hours
- Managing employee performance, behaviour and productivity (e.g., provide support and guidance, motivate employees, address areas of improvement and performance/behaviour concerns)
- Hire, train and develop employees to a high standard (e.g., train them on job-specific tasks and health and safety)
- Take the initiative to support all store warehouse tasks, including picking, receiving, shipping, stocking and organizing products
- Help maintain a clean and organized store by keeping racking, shelves, pallet area, workstations and shared spaces neat (organize products, sweep, dust, disinfect and mop)
- Efficiently and safely load auto parts onto vehicles and deliver them to destinations when necessary
- Collaborate with the Sales Representative and District Manager on a regular basis to obtain maximum profit
- Coordinate with the warehouse for stock-related concerns
- Coordinate with the drivers for warehouse pickups and delivery to customers
- Process monthly accounts receivable
- Make daily bank deposits
- Perform inventory control by managing the overall inventory of the store and ensuring product availability
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone
- Answer inbound calls and ensure that all calls are answered in a professional manner
- Make follow-up calls to customers when necessary (i.e. for past due/accounts on hold)
- Other duties as assigned by the District Manager

**Key Requirements and Experiences**
- Leadership/supervisory experience
- Customer service and sales experience in the auto parts/automotive industry
- G Driver’s License required for occasional deliveries
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- People management and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of retail and/or wholesale sales practices and techniques
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills
