Apprentice Technician

Our Dundas, ON tire & auto shop is currently on the lookout for a new full-time Apprentice Technician to join our team.

At Beverly Tire & Auto, we strive to be the destination for all our customers’ vehicle needs and we pride ourselves in being your one-stop shop for tires and auto repair in Ontario. Our teams perform skilled manual work in the repair and maintenance of motor vehicles.
- Wage rate based on experience._

In the Apprentice Technician role, you would hold a crucial position in our shop as you would:

- Complete vehicle road tests to identify deficiencies
- Conduct both general and major repair work on motor vehicles
- Refer to service manuals, schematics, drawings, and work orders
- Report on completion of work assigned as required
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment
- Maintain a well-organized and professional work area
- Diagnose the source of issues
- Determine the extent of repairs required
- Perform inspections
- Replace and adjust parts as necessary
- Other duties as required
- Registered training agreement (**required**)
- Valid driver’s license (**required**)
- Demonstrated proficiency in auto repair and maintenance
- Comfortable performing heavy lifting
- Confidence and aptitude to work unsupervised and independently
- Previous experience in tires (an asset)
- Experience working in a team-based environment
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Familiarity with a variety of automotive related products
- Experienced with troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of tools and equipment
- Outstanding analytic and problem solving skills
- Own tools
- The Apprentice Technician_ _position is a physical role that requires standing, walking, crouching and/or bending for the length of a shift._

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
