We are looking for an Account Executive as an individual contributor to join our United Audience Platform (UAP) Sales team to focus on driving sales for Webonise. UAP is a SaaS marketing automation platform that helps businesses grow their clients.
**About the role**:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial, highly motivated salesperson that can optimize the entirety of their sales cycle. This role will be based in Halifax, Nova Scotia reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development and Sales. **Key responsibilities include**:
- Own your sales territory, identify key targets, prioritize prospects and engage at a senior level using a range of business development skills.
- Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly quotas
- Establish lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers
- Educate customers on the benefits of UAP through tailored demonstrations and presentations.
- Navigate key decision makers to build awareness of Webonise and UAP product
- Understanding clients' needs to create a compelling value proposition.
- Initiate, negotiate and close new contracts with customers.
- Keep CRM up to date on all sales activity and deal forecasts.
- Monitor post-sale and onboarding stages, provide an effective handover of the client-to-Client Services and Professional Services teams as well as all necessary internal stakeholders.
**Role requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of account executive experience
- Experience working in a new business sales role with enterprise level accounts, and experience in SEM or SAAS is a big plus.
- Proven outstanding track record in meeting and exceeding goals and sales targets
- Experience selling to clients direct at a senior level, and experience selling to C-Level executives would be a plus
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across all areas of the business
- Strong relationship building skills, highly target driven, and able to work in a flexible environment
- Exceptional communication skills and presenting skills
- Hard working and inquisitive, with a passion and drive to overachieve
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and competitive drive.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and closing contracts.
- Excellent presentation and articulate communication skills (written and oral).
- Ability to develop senior-level relationships quickly and effectively.
- Diligence in maintaining a sales CRM.
- Occasional travel may be required.
