**What do you offer?**
The Child, Youth & Family (CYF) Programs Supervisor ensures CYF staff adhere to the mission, purpose, image and core values of the YMCA of the NCR. This position works as part of the Y HFA leadership team in providing quality opportunities for involvement to programs for members, volunteers, staff and community at large while specifically coordinating the delivery of programs and services for children, youth and their families.
**Some of the tasks of this position include**:
- Assisting with all administration, development, implementation, facilitation, delivery and success of programs and services for children, youth and families.
- Assisting in developing program schedules, driving program participation rates, and responding to client feedback for all CYF programs.
- Ensuring programs start and finish according to their scheduled times.
- Maintaining program rosters and reviewing program plans.
- Supporting the Membership Sales and Service team in maintaining and updating Xplor as it pertains to CYF registrations.
- Supporting the Health, Fitness & Aquatics team in Duty Manager shifts.

**Education**
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in Recreation Leadership, Sports Administration, Education, or a related discipline preferred
**Language**
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- French is an asset
**Experience, Skills and Abilities**
- 1-2 years of experience delivering programming for children and youth
- Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated administrative and program development experience, including supervisory experience
- Well-developed interpersonal, conflict resolution, leadership and relationship-building skills
- Able to work independently and proactively in a leadership role with little supervision or instruction
- Knowledge and frequent use of Microsoft Office Suite products is required
- Knowledge of database/client management systems is desirable
**Additional Requirements**:
- Applicants must already have a valid permit to work in Canada.
- Semi-annually, staff must complete the mandatory training for the protection of Children & Youth and submit the certificate of completion.
