Manager, Recruitment Marketing

The Manager, Recruitment Marketing will oversee marketing, communications and website management for Make a Future, the recruitment team for the British Columbia Public School Employers’ Association (BCPSEA).

BCPSEA is the employers’ association for BC’s 60 K-12 public school districts. We provide trusted sectoral leadership in labour relations and human resources. The Make a Future team provides a centralized recruitment and job posting service that supports all BC school districts. Through our services, support, advice and professional learning offerings we work together with school districts, government, partners and stakeholders to ensure the success of students and the public education system.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Makeafuture.ca website
- Manage the recruitment website, including design and content
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) management
- Strong writing and copyediting skills

2. Social media and digital advertising
- Develop, implement and evaluate social media recruitment marketing campaigns
- Develop, implement and evaluate digital advertising campaigns
- Search Engine Marketing (SEM) management

4. Storytelling

5. Brand
- Manage and promote the Make a Future brand across BC, Canada and Internationally

Education and experience
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications or a related field
- More than five years of relevant work experience
- Bilingualism in English/French is an asset
- Lived experience is recognized

Salary and Benefits

The hiring range for this position starts at $90,100. We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.

Our BCPSEA Culture

We are a small, dynamic team that provides expertise to all 60 school districts across the entire province. We offer on-the-job training and have regular all-staff training and fun staff events. Support and teamwork are at the core of how we work together.
