Trans Mountain operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 300,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta and British Columbia, and 111 kilometres of pipeline in Washington state.

**This position is based in our Edmonton Regional Office and will report to the Director, Edmonton Terminal & Control Centre.**

**Duration: May 6, 2024 to August 30, 2024.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to the Edmonton Operations Office, Control Centre, Regional Office, and Terminal.
- Provide support to the Regional Budget Analyst, such as data entry and database updates.
- Assist with planning and set up of company activities and events.
- Assist with monthly safety checks at the Operations Office and Control Center.
- Pick up, receive, distribute, and send out internal mail.
- Maintain Operations Office and Control Centre grounds (i.e., weeding, planting, watering flowers, coordinating landscapers, window cleaning, etc.).
- Order and maintain office supplies, coffee, and janitorial supplies for the Edmonton Operations Office and Control Centre.
- Consolidate files and ship to Calgary for retention.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as required.

**Qualifications and Professional Experience**:

- Enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program, Finance and other Business disciplines with at least one year completed.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft systems - Outlook/Word/Excel/SharePoint/WebEx/Microsoft Calendar.
- Clerical, organizational, and administrative skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and willingness to assist all manner of requests from fellow employees and the public.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with mínimal supervision.
- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail is critical.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change.
- Some database and analytical experience are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Other Requirements and Information**:

- Must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution, returning to full-time studies in the Fall term.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

**The expected pay range for this position is $20.86 to $27.44 CAD per hour.**

In Alberta, the existing pipeline system spans the traditional territories of Treaty 6, 7 and 8, and the Métis Nation of Alberta (Zone 4).

In British Columbia, the system crosses the traditional territories of numerous First Nations that are affiliated with the Secwepemc, Dakelh (Carrier), Nlaka'pamux, Syilx/Okanagan, Interior and Coast Salish, Stó:lo, as well as the Métis.

Trans Mountain also operates through 15 First Nation Reserves located within the region spanning the BC interior through Fraser Valley.
