Facility & Performance Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Facility & Performance Manager directs and co-ordinates the evening and weekend product & service delivery and ensures that the team delivers exceptional customer experiences in a safe manner. They are the onsite resource for our customers, employees, tenants, and vendors and are responsible for smooth communication and service standards between all areas. They also ensure that the team follow established systems and processes for optimum operating efficiency. The Performance Manager is responsible to ensure the professional opening and closing of the facility, successful execution of events, with oversight of coaching staff, emergency procedures, and first aid. They must be visible and accessible throughout the building, to all employees and user groups.
This role is responsible for exceptional execution and consistently provides exceptional customer experiences and are a direct link to the teams on behalf of management.

**Abilities, Attributes and Experience**:
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in sports facility management, including strong league operations
- Program, food and beverage and facility maintenance an asset
- Demonstrated strong team leadership and development ability
- A background in sports, ideally hockey, with proven knowledge of the recreational sports environment
- At least one (1) year of experience in** **a multi-sport recreational-based industry
- Demonstrated customer service skills, outgoing and positive disposition, an ability to work flexible hours (evenings and weekends), and a willingness to
- Strong communication/relationship building and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with the technical aspects of ice making and maintenance an asset
- A solid foundation of computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
**Qualifications and Education**:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Recreation, Facility Management or a combination of experience and education is an advantage
- Criminal record check required
- Vulnerable sector search may be required
- Basic First Aid Training, CPR, and/or AED certification would be considered an asset and/or training will be provided
