*Job Overview*

As a Service Manager at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the service/install department operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability.

*Duties*
- Overseeing a team of refrigeration technicians and support staff.
- Help with assigning and scheduling work orders and ensuring timely service delivery.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients regarding service/install issues.
- Handling customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Managing service contracts and fostering long-term client relationships.
- Managing daily operations, including dispatching technicians to job sites with the help of dispatcher.
- Ensuring all work complies with safety and industry standards.
- Monitoring work progress, and managing any delays or issues that arise
- Performing quality checks on completed work to ensure proper installation and repair.
- Implementing processes to maintain high standards of service.
- Troubleshooting complex issues alongside technicians when needed.
- Overseeing inventory management, ensuring the availability of parts and tools.
- Managing the maintenance and repair of the company’s equipment
- Managing the service department’s budget, including cost control and profitability analysis.
- Reviewing job costs, preparing quotes, and ensuring billing is accurate and timely.
- Ensuring all technicians follow local, state, and national regulations for refrigeration systems.
- Promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as response times, job completion rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Providing regular reports to upper management on the department’s performance.
- Negotiating with suppliers for equipment and parts.
- Maintaining strong relationships with external vendors for materials and service needs.
- Identifying opportunities for improving service efficiency, such as implementing new technologies or optimizing workflows.
- Planning for future business needs, including technician hiring and training.

*Qualifications*
- Previous experience in a refrigeration service role, preferably as a mechanic or in a similar capacity
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively oversee service/install operations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
