**What do you offer?**
The Team Supervisor and Data Manager (TSDM) is a member of the Housing Department’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and supports the Director of Transitional Housing and the Associate Vice President of Housing Services to manage the day-to-day operations of Transitional Housing and to ensure accurate and insightful data development and program evaluation for the Housing Services Department as a whole. The TSDM works with the SLT to achieve strategic goals in the fulfillment of the mission of the YMCA of the National Capital Region.
**Some of the tasks of this position include**:
- Supporting the Director of Transitional Housing in managing day-to-day operations, as well as the recruitment, training, supervision and performance management of Transitional Housing staff.
- Supervising a team to implement a highly-regulated, high-volume program with high turnover of residents in a unionized environment.
- Ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.
- Ensuring accurate and insightful data development and program evaluation for the Housing Services Department.
- Using analysis and creativity to interpret data generated by Housing Services and presenting it in ways that support program evaluation and programmatic and strategic decision-making.

**Education**
- Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related field
**Language**
- Fluent in English, oral and written
- French is an asset
**Experience, Skills and Abilities**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the shelter or housing field
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge, understanding and experience in working with a vulnerable population
- Extensive knowledge of community resources
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HIFIS, and case management software
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis and reporting
- Experience in a unionized environment preferred
**Additional Requirements**:
- Applicants must already have a valid permit to work in Canada.
- Semi-annually, staff must complete the mandatory training for the protection of Children & Youth and submit the certificate of completion.
