**INTEGRATED HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT - PART-TIME POSITION (.8 FTE - 30 hours per week)**

Almonte General Hospital and Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital created the Mississippi River Health Alliance (MRHA) in 2016 to formalize their commitment to work together to improve each patient and resident’s overall health care experience through a strong, coordinated system of care. An integrated Senior Team leads the two Hospitals, as well as Fairview Manor and Lanark County Paramedic Service which are operating divisions of AGH. Over 600 caring staff, physicians and midwives provide excellent primary, acute and long-term care to citizens of Lanark County, West Ottawa and Renfrew County.

Reporting to the Integrated Human Resources Manager, the Integrated Human Resources (HR) Assistant provides administrative, coordination and logistics support to the Human Resources Team including support to the Integrated Vice-President of Human Resources and Occupational Health & Safety. Providing excellence in customer service, the HR Assistant applies an understanding of human resource fundamentals combined with strong organizational skills, to efficiently and effectively manage a high volume of work flow processes and documentation being delegated by departmental team members.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Acts as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries
- Coordinates arrangements for committees, meetings and other events
- Coordinates arrangements for recruitment activities, books interviews, drafts employment letters and new hire onboarding packages
- Attends meetings and takes and distributes minutes to participants.Coordination of Corporate Orientation and other training programs as required
- Assists with HR events and recognition programs such as long service awards, etc.
- Reviews, prepares or submits invoices for payments
- Prepares, formats and edits a range of documents such as memos, correspondence, reports, training materials, presentations, spreadsheets, posters, policies, procedures, etc.
- Creates or assists with the creation of forms and templates
- Maintains databases and filing systems including file setup, data entry, data validation and archiving
- Works collaboratively to provide support for special projects as required

**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources and administration.
- A minimum of one (1) year related work experience, preferably in a unionized organization supporting professional office functions and performing similar administrative duties.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management with proven abilities in planning, priority setting and meeting deadlines.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $27.94-$30.54 per hour
