**ALL AROUND TIN BARN ASSISTANT**
We are looking for one or two versatile and motivated people to join our little team. This will involve a range of tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to:
SHOPKEEPER - top notch customer service, product knowledge, day-day business needs, merchandising + display, liaison between customer requests and warehouse/studio + owner.

SHOP SUPPORT - receiving and stocking product, cleaning and organizing, working as part of a team, taking direction.

WEBSITE SUPPORT - (training provided) assisting in keeping our e-commerce website up to date with new product information + images, acquiring + editing photos, assisting with product photo shoots.

We are open to this position evolving so we are looking for someone who may have an interest to grow with us

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Variety Pack Each day could be different based on the most urgent needs of the shop but may include any of the following:
Always: Ensure our customers feel welcome and inspired in the shop and provide product information or advice they may need
Keep the shop looking and functioning at its best - refresh/restock store displays on a daily basis, organize back room and stock overflow, maintain a cleaning schedule + routine.
Manage inventory - including receiving orders, unpacking, tagging and stocking as well as reporting any inventory discrepancies or low stock levels
Complete sales - learn + use a computerized point of sale system
Product knowledge - learn about the products we offer and be a competent resource for our customers
Open and close the shop on your own
Possibly, assist with the website - (training provided) input product information + images, acquire supplier images, and assist with product photo shoots

**AVAILABILITY**
Must be able to work weekend shifts, evening shifts and regular business hours shifts (10am - 5pm)
A flexible schedule is an asset, but we try to block your weekly shifts on consistent, consecutive days.

**ASSETS, EXPERIENCE**
Previous retail & sales experience or have acquired similar skills which would translate well into a small shop environment
Merchandising & styling skills.
Computer skills + aptitude: Word, Excel, (Bonus: graphics programs, some Photoshop or ability to learn, Internet/social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest)

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour
