**Job Summary**

As a part of our Aerial Park team, you are responsible for guiding and maintaining the safety and well being of guests as they traverse through our 4-storey obstacle course. This is a great job for those looking to be outside and active at work. You'll be required to climb ropes and obstacles in all weather conditions, maintaining a constant detailed approach to safety. You are a front-line staff member, requiring some problem solving and providing excellent customer service to create a Fantastic Family Fun experience.

**Job Specifications**
- Wage: $16.75-$19.00 / hour based on experience
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time - Working between 8-10 hours/day. Weekends and Holidays
- Skill Level - Entry Level

**Responsibilities**:

- Understand the proper use of all safety equipment. (Harnesses, carabiner, course etc.)
- Ensure that all guests using the Aerial Park are fully trained on how to use our equipment safely.
- Lead guests throughout the Aerial Park
- Confident rescue skills. (Scenarios and practice provided during training and throughout the season)
- Control the flow of guests using the Aerial Park.
- Set up and take down equipment such as poles, ropes, tents and signs.
- General safe operation of the Aerial Park.
- Following the routine safety checks before and after the opening/closure of aerial park
- Document all injuries and near misses accordingly (training will be provided)
- Follow and perform all company and departmental policies and procedures, including proper radio protocol
- Ensuring every guest has a pass
- Practice safe work procedures
- Maintain a professional and respectable appearance
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**
- No experience necessary but an asset, we train all Aerial Park Attendants (including returnees)
- Must be able to make quick decisions/use considerable judgement regarding safety as well as multitask and anticipate issues
- To follow and uphold all policies and procedures
- Must have a passion for the outdoors and the ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to do strong physical labor (strenuous climbing for long periods at a time.)
- Must be able to work flexible shifts (we operate on weekends and holidays.)
- First aid OFA level 1. (Will be provided in first week of training if not obtained)
- Ability to multi-task and communicate clearly over a radio.
- Must be able stand outside in a mountain environment for long periods of time
- Must be able to handle high guest volumes in a professional manner
- Must be willing to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of assigned area, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends
- Strong customer service and clear communication skills
- Must be adaptable, have problem solving skills, and be a team player across all departments
- Stress Management, Patient, and have great Time Management Skills
- Cross Department Support is required from all positions at SMR
