**Job Summary**

As a part of our Terrain Park team, you are responsible for the safe building and maintenance of terrain park attributes; as well as enforcing policies, documenting all work, and assisting with park events. A Terrain Park Attendants top priority is the safe and efficient operation of all features for guests, reporting to your Team Leads or Supervisor when needed. You are a front-line staff member, problem solving and providing excellent customer service to create a Fantastic Family Fun experience.

**Job Specifications**
- Wage: starting at 17.00/ hour based on experience
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time - Working between 8-10 hours/day. Weekends and Holidays
- Skill Level - Entry Level

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare all features, fencing, entrances, and signage for opening in the morning and document it in the terrain park log book
- Properly close off all features in the park at closing and document it in the terrain park log book
- Document all work, and maintenance done on all features in the park in the terrain parks log book
- Maintain or close features that are located within your designated area
- Maintaining a constant presence in the park to enforce policies
- Testing features in the park only when signed off to do so by the Terrain Park Supervisor
- Assist patrol with accidents and investigations, where required
- Assisting with special events in the park
- Provide assistance and information about the resort to guests
- Be a positive role model for park users
- Implement emergency procedures as required, including contacting Ski Patrol
- Perform snow work, which includes but not limited to shoveling, raking, sweeping
- Follow and perform all company and departmental policies and procedures, including proper radio protocol
- Maintain a professional and respectable appearance
- Practice safe work procedures
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**
- No experience necessary but an asset, we train all Terrain Park Attendants (including returnees)
- Must be able to make quick decisions/use considerable judgement regarding safety as well as multitask and anticipate issues
- Must be physically capable of assisting guests, shoveling snow, grooming, and assisting where needed, may lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able stand outside in a mountain environment for long periods of time
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be able to handle high guest volumes in a professional manner
- Must be willing to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of assigned area, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends
- Strong customer service and clear communication skills
- Must be adaptable, have problem solving skills, and be a team player across all departments
- Family Oriented Resort so working with large groups, families of all ages is required
- Stress Management, Patient, and have great Time Management Skills
- Cross Department Support and Snow Removal is required from all positions at SMR
