**JOB DESCRIPTION**
TITLE: Accounting Administrator
DEPARTMENT: Finance and Accounting
LOCATION: Head office - 800 boul. de Maisonneuve East, suite 800, Montreal, QC
- *POSSIBILITY OF A HYBRID SCHEDULE_
**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain accounts payable for real estate projects located in the United States and Canada including verification, coding and entry of invoices, control of purchase orders, follow-up and payment.
- Control the banking and carry out their reconciliations.
- Prepare and perform monthly tax remittances.
- Communicate effectively with US and Canadian partners and suppliers, in French and English.
- Analyze accounts payable and control cash flow.
- Perform other accounting and/or administrative tasks (analysis and support to chief accountants, journal entries, filing) as requested and required.
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Excellent team spirit and ability to serve several people simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English.
- Proficiency in Excel software and accounting software.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic personality but well balanced and controlled.
- Rigor, organization, precision, and attention to detail while being fast and efficient.
- Ability to learn and alternate between tasks with speed and flexibility.
- Initiative and ability to work independently.
- Basic training in accounting.
- Real estate experience a plus.
