Manager - Project and Finance Operation

Responsibilities
- Work with various teams within the organization, assisting in the development of business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Recommend and implement system improvements for both established and newly formed operations.
- Work with the operations team to coordinate projects, budget control, and reporting.
- Manage and oversea finance and government filings.
- Oversee the training and development of all volunteers, project administrators, and the finance team.
- Manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance within the organization.
- Develop ADSBC program assessments and critical performance indicators, maintain data, and report to grants and funders.
- Liaise with Human Resources on employee matters relating to workplace conduct, attendance management, and other issues surrounding employee welfare and engagement.
- Manage practicum and student job placements and project or contract workers as required.
- Participate in strategic planning days, staff meetings, and other internal and external meetings and events.
- Coordinate, build relationships with, and pay external vendors.
- Administrative duties, including photocopying, filing, preparing, organizing, and maintaining accounting/contract records
- Perform other related duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor or Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or Operations Management.
- Must have 2- 3 years of experience in project management, budgeting, finance, leadership, and operation management.
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of event financial management.
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills, and comfortable presenting to groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (required).
- Demonstrate working knowledge of local community art-based programs and related support systems.
- Experience with contact/relational databases preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as required
- Work well with diverse stakeholders, including marginalized persons based on gender, race/ethnicity, economic status, language, culture, age, disability, sexual orientation/identity and/or gender identity.
- Work with the year-round events team on optimizing the event life cycle systems and organizational processes.

- employees will be able to split time between Head Office and work from home.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Salary**: $34.00-$40.00 per hour
