We're looking for an Application Specialist to join our team in Toronto. In this technical support role, you'll be responsible for a broad range of tasks, primarily related to our document management system (DMS), iManage. You will work closely with the IT Security, Application Support, and Service Desk teams to provide proactive and reactive support for document access, security, and design changes within iManage and other connected systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide day-to-day security and administration support to colleagues and end-users.
Respond to service requests related to our DMS and coordinate security-related tasks and document access.
Respond to service requests related to our Ethical Walls system.
Ensure IT Security compliance requirements are met, including policy adherence and exceptions management.
Perform routine security monitoring tasks and report issues that are uncovered
Report anomalous security incidents; conduct target analysis of suspect areas. Recommend and implement process and reporting improvements as directed.
Act as the primary test and UAT expert for DMS upgrades and changes.
Participate in the Firm's disaster recovery and business continuity planning, testing, and execution with a focus on our DMS.
Perform other duties within the nature and level of the job as needed.

**Knowledge and Experience**:
3+ years of experience in Applications or Systems Administration or a related field.
Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in IT or a related field is an asset.
Good knowledge of any DMS and the importance of IT Security Administration.
General knowledge of IT network, infrastructure, and software.

**Skills and Abilities**:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent client service, interpersonal (in person and over the phone), and problem-solving skills.
Ability to create and follow documented processes.
Capable of utilizing information security and internal monitoring tools.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to deep dive into technical issues.
Willingness to be on-call and work during non-business hours.
