**Deal Entry Clerk**

**Capital Chrysler is an AutoCanada dealership. **We are looking for a
**Deal Entry Clerk** to join our team. Reporting to the
** Controller, **this position will support with posting deals, monthly reconciliations, and cheque generation.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Posting deal sales into accounting.
- Calculating, posting, and tracking monthly sales commissions.
- Generating cheques for lien payouts, referrals, and reimbursements.
- Reconciling flooring liabilities.
- Reconciling various accounting schedules relating to vehicle inventory.
- Auditing all deals to ensure eligibility under OEM current programs.
- Post, audit and balance all factory receivables and submit any manual claims.
- Complete monthly Stats report.
- Review all deals to ensure required documentation is in each deal pack and that all deals are AMVIC and OEM compliant.
- Submit and balance monthly all aftermarket finance & insurance products sold.
- Filing, scanning, and tracking of documents.
- Creating, formatting various documents, and correspondence.
- Assisting the Controller on month end and quarter ends tasks.
- Completing other administrative tasks as assigned by the leadership team.

**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
- Must have a minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Experience using CDK would be considered an asset.
- Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel) including document templates.
- Excellent discretion and judgment in carrying out responsibilities and resolving day-to-day matters.
- Detail orientated and experience working with confidential information.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Creative problem solver who works in a professional and ethical manner.
- Willing to be flexible with hours around month end and quarter end deadlines.

**Job Details**
- Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
- Additional hours will be required to meet month end and quarter end deadlines
