**Payroll Administrator/Human Resources Assistant **(NOC 13102)**

**Salary**: $56,160 - $60,320/year; salary increases per company policy
**Benefits**: Canada Life Health Care Benefit Program, RRSP benefits, Profit-Sharing
**Employment terms and conditions**: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week), Business Day schedule

**Language**:English
**Education/Experience**:Diploma (in Business Administration, Human Resources, Payroll Administration, Bookkeeping, or related field), or minimum 6 months of related experience
**Personal Suitability**:Attention to detail, Accurate, Organized, Team Player
**Duties**:
- **Inform supervisors/managers on various procedures and policies**
- **Promote corporate culture and answering day to day HR related questions**
- **Assist with conflict management and progressive disciplinary processes**
- **Participate in Social Committee and help with organizing events**
- **Perform orientation/onboarding for new employees**
- **Various filing and updating employee files**
- **Assist in setting up systems access for new hires**
- **Maintain HR records and ensure strict confidentiality of employee information**
- **Run payroll/HR-related reports from HRIS systems for management**
- **Sign off on all payroll timecards in Time Management System (Kronos)**
- **Post miscellaneous payroll adjustment requests through OnBase**
- **Answer payroll/benefits inquiries**
- **Assist employees with Benefits claims forms for reimbursement**
- **Assist employees with Benefits enrollment/changes online**
- **Track benefits eligibility for employees**
- **Fill out employer insurance claim forms**
- **Prepare performance report to ensure monthly bonuses are paid**
- **Prepare WorkSafeBC-related forms and reports**
- **Prepare financial reports for various department managers as requested**
- **May perform other related duties as required, such as vacations, sick days, hiring, terminations, and performance reviews**
