Service Desk Analyst, Co-op

**Salary: $18-$24/hour**

The Service Desk Analyst, Co-Op is a cornerstone of the IT team and reports directly to the Director, IT Infrastructure & Security. As a member of the IT Service Desk team, you are the first point of contact for the business for IT related issues. You should have strong technical skills, the professionalism and initiative to get problems resolved quickly, efficiently and escalate as appropriate. Delivering effective communication should be second nature. You will be part of a team responsible for managing the incident, request and problem queues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the incident, request, and problem queues according to the set SLA’s
- Respond to inquiries and user issues, provide troubleshooting and configuration support, diagnose and resolve both hardware and software related technical issues remotely and in person
- Document procedures, corrective actions, and update knowledge base system
- Ensure timely and accurate communication to all customers
- Log, track, resolve and reroute incidents and close out incidents using the IT service management system
- Support Desktop Analyst with administration of IT Inventory
- Complete quarterly rocks as assigned
- Communicate to peers and management trends, significant problems and unexpected delays in real time

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program in a related field, such as Computer science and or Information Technology
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with high volume and tight deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, prioritizing key activities
- Has determination, grit and a proven ability to go the extra mile
- Proven ability to work positively within a team environment
