**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Staff Training and Development**:
- Train new servers on restaurant policies, menu items, and customer service standards.
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to ensure staff knowledge and skills remain up-to-date.
- Mentor and support staff to improve performance and enhance guest experience.
2. **Scheduling**:
- Create and manage weekly staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
- Handle shift changes, time-off requests, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficient operations.
3. **Computer Work**:
- Edit and update menu items in the restaurant’s POS system.
- Manage OpenTable reservations, including changes and cancellations.
- Generate and analyze reports related to sales, staff performance, and customer feedback.
4. **VIP Coordination**:
- Ensure VIP guests receive exceptional service and attention.
- Coordinate special requests and accommodations for VIPs.
- Maintain a database of VIP guests and their preferences.
5. **Operations Management**:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service flow.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.
6. **Team Management**:
- Lead and manage a team of servers, ensuring high performance and team cohesion.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, goals, and feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
7. **Bar Coordination**:
- Coordinate bar ordering to ensure adequate stock levels and variety.
- Work closely with bar staff to maintain quality and consistency in drink preparation.
- Monitor bar inventory and manage supplier relationships.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in using restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, OpenTable).
- Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
