As a Team Lead in Manufacturing, you will work closely with the Lead Hand/Supervisors &
Management staff.

Provide leadership/guidance to Employees regarding Training, Health & Safety, Quality and Production related issues. Along with performing regular duties as a Forklift Operator, this position will also contribute to facility projects and initiatives.

**Objective**:
1. Support Leadership team by observing/ coaching employees to meet or exceed quality and production objectives. (Using both Official and Unofficial Auditing/training techniques.)

2. Supporting Leadership in ensuring all Company Policies and Safe Work Practices are being followed.

3. Support Operations/Shipping by fulfilling the regular duties of the Forklift Position while acting as a resource to employees as well as the Leadership member on shift.

4. Engage with management by occasionally coming in outside of regular shift hours and/or work overtime if required.

**Job duties and Responsibilities**

**Health and Safety**
- Work with/resolve/coach employees on facility health and safety concerns.
- Support with procedure development/ modification and implementation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Encourage a positive employee morale base.

**Production/Quality**
- Work with Leadership to resolve employee concerns hindering productivity and performance as required,
- Work with shift manager/supervisor/Lead

Hand on all processes/procedures occurring on Company Property. (Incl. but not limited to, storage rules, facility clean up, product rotation, etc.)

**Qualifications - Required skills**:

- Ability to attain organizational goals and objectives with a minimum of direction.
- Ability to support on all shifts temporarily if required.
- Valid Forklift Licence and Experience.
- Well defined verbal & written skills.

Ability to conduct/communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
- PC literate.

**Other Considerations**:

- Ability to assume leadership roles across all shifts from time to time to cover vacations and or absences.
- Ability and willingness to support Company weekend Over-Time requirements as necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Additional pay:
