Draftsperson - Cad Specialist

CanPat Builders Ltd. is looking to add an experienced, motivated individual to the team as a Draftsperson. The applicant will be responsible for creating custom components and blueprints using CAD for a wide range and variety of industrial metal fabrication projects. This will be a part time position, with the opportunity to grow into full time for the right applicant.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare designs, drawings and specifications for custom components and blueprints using Computer Aided Design (CAD).
- Review components for non-conformities.
- Provide accurate cost estimates.

**Qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in a design-related field.
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
- Mechanical manufacturing design experience.
- Strong planning and analytical skills. Attention to detail is a must.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

**Salary**: $16.76-$35.44 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- WEST ST. PAUL, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- AutoCAD: 3 years (preferred)
- drafting: 3 years (preferred)
