**Responsibilities**:
STRONG ABILITY TO SKETCH DESIGNS
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software such as SolidWorks, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and analyze project documents, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare drawings, diagrams, and layouts for construction projects, including structural, electrical, and mechanical components.
- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback from team members or clients.
- Collaborate with other drafters and designers to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
- Use 2D and 3D animation software to create visual representations of designs or concepts.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including technical reports and specifications.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Knowledge of drafting techniques, standards, and symbols.
- Familiarity with BC building codes and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.
- Ability to interpret complex project requirements and translate them into clear drawings.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Experience with NavisWorks software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Coordinate drawings between all disciplines, ensuring effective communication and integration of architectural plans with other engineering disciplines.
- Administer contracts and review shop drawings, conduct thorough reviews of project specifications, coordinate with contractors, and perform on-site inspections as necessary.
- Ensure that all construction documentation is IFC-compliant, following industry standards and guidelines for the issuance of construction documents.
- Respond to and tracking RFI (Request for Information) submissions, actively addressing queries and clarifications from contractors and stakeholders.
- Support the growth and development of company culture and professionally represent our Company
- Performs other duties as required.

What are we looking for?
- 3+ years of architectural experience with relevant project experience.
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of BIM strategies, standards, and protocols will be an asset.
- Ability to produce a complete set of construction drawings with input from Architects, Consultants, and Senior Building Technicians.
- Experience in coordinating drawings with consultants.
- Working knowledge of building envelope concepts, construction practice, and building systems.
- Wood Frame Construction experience.
- Understanding of construction details, materials, and specifications.
- High-level organizational and time management skills.
- Great interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented, versatile, and flexible, with excellent creative and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, with good initiative and a strong work ethic.
- Working knowledge of the Canada Building Code and the British Columbia Building Code

**Job Location**: Head Office - West Vancouver, BC

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
