We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales Specialist to grow and learn, and to be the person with whom our customers will appreciate and enjoy their daily interactions.2.0 BASIC FUNCTIONSMulti Instruments Applications/Sales Specialist is responsible for day to day quotes and order handling, supporting the sales force by performing product application designs and suggesting product solutions that meet/exceed customer requirements. Candidate will act as an interface between Account Managers and Customers for Multi Instruments solutions, and also work as a liaison between, Multi Instruments Instrumentation, and North American distribution partners. 3.0 POSITION REQUIREMENTS o Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering Technology, or similar trades experience. § Electrical/Mechanical engineering with applicable instrumentation product experience and training would also be suitable.o Experience in piping codes and regulations would be an asset.o Solid knowledge of oil, gas and petrochemical industrieso Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point§ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central would be an asset.§ CAD experience (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS) would also be an asset.o Good Communication Skills, oral and written.o Proficient in English Language, any other language skills would be a definite asset.4.0 REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS This position will report directly to the Canadian Managing Director and will work directly with the Dutch head office. 5.0 AUTHORITYAccording to actual organization chart. 6.0 RESPONSIBILITIES o Work with customers to select optimal solutions for instrumentation manifolds, close couple assemblies and winterization to fit their specific requirements. o Order processing in all stages from quote to delivery.o Management of incoming and outgoing materialo Manage customer/factory correspondence for active orders and opportunities. o Manage items database, coordinated with Multi Instrument Instrumentation (The Netherlands)o Identify, select and purchase third party hardware as required for Multi Instruments total solutions.o Originate and finalize equipment quotations based on application designs created by self or others, as required.o Initiate customer warranty claims and credit requests as directed.7.0 ADDITIONAL DUTIESo Fully implement and actively promote respect for Health, Safety & Environmental standards and policies, as well as any other customer or external agency's regulatory requirements.o Assist with maintenance of third-party auditing sites.o Actively and visibly participate in business planning meetings.o Maintenance and updates of customer interface documents including quotes, sales orders and invoices.8.0 MEASUREMENT OF PERFORMANCEo Annual Review against objectives9.0 HOURS OF WORK o Regular hours of work are from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – Monday to Friday
