The YMCA is a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living and wellness and social responsibility. This position supports the work of our Y’s four regions of operation: Edmonton, Red Deer, Grande Prairie and Wood Buffalo. As a member of the Marketing & Communications team, you will support the development and implementation of our marketing and communications strategies, create compelling visual communications pieces and help us tell the Y story, under the guidance of the Marketing & Communications Supervisor.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Manage multiple projects at once while delivering exceptional customer experience to internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver engaging creative work by conceptualizing, designing and deploying graphic design, photo and video assets to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and increase overall engagement, sales and donations
- Produce content that aligns with the YMCA brand, channel, tone of voice and values
- Develop, present and implement data-backed, cost-effective marketing and communications strategies and campaigns to meet needs and goals from around the organization
- Work with a small, fast-moving and high-performing team who are collectively focused on the growth and development of marketing strategies as they relate to the organization’s strategic plans
- Work collaboratively within the marketing and communications team and with colleagues across the organization to powerfully tell the YMCA’s story

- You can manage concurrent projects with competing timelines, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Your time management skills are on point and you know how to prioritize

**Your qualifications and education**:

- Experience and a high level of proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Diploma or degree in marketing, design, advertising, public relations, communications or related fields
- 2+ years of related design or marketing experience required; videography and photography experience an asset
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector check
