Manager Business Performance Support

**What will you do?**

**Business & Performance Management**
- Produce and maintain insightful, accurate and timely reporting (e.g., dashboards) to enable Senior Management to make data driven and informed decisions
- Partner closely with the various internal partners to develop, track and analyze Key Success Factors
- Analyze, streamline, and automate business performance management reporting and coordinate & manage the regular quarterly business review process

**Must Have**:

- Minimum of 5+ years Financial, Data, relevant business experience
- University degree or related business management experience
- High degree of proficiency working with data and insight tools (e.g. Excel and Tableau)
- An inquisitive and creative mindset, focused on solutions
- Strong attention to detail and desire for accuracy
- Superior communication, presentation and storytelling skills; able to succinctly express ideas
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to draw insights, anticipate needs and identify solutions
- Collaborative team player with a “one-team” mindset, willing to speak up for the good of RBC
- Leveraging both internal and external data/information within the Region in order to identify impactful and actionable/controllable business performance opportunities in both Personal & Commercial markets (Market Contribution - Revenue & NIE, Volumes, Sales, Productivity, Client Loyalty, and Employee Engagement);
- Uncover best practices in collaboration with Workforce Planning and HR, Sales Enablement, Operations & Control Effectiveness, Capacity and Physical Network Strategy, as well as Communication, Marketing and Corporate Citizenship. where applicable;
- Make recommendations to the Regional Operating Officer on initiatives that would provide greatest impact to lift overall Regional performance;
- Ensure appropriate monitor/measure mechanisms are in place to track overall success of Business Performance initiatives.
- Support the region in understanding controllable drivers of performance and in the building of regional Business and Market Planning
- Through analysis identifies best practices across Personal & Commercial markets and makes recommendations to ROO’s re strategies to share and adopt best practices to drive business performance.
- Business case development for transformation sponsored projects/initiatives including costs/benefit analysis
- Identifies project/initiative risks and issues, evaluating impact and potential mitigants prior to escalating with the appropriate sense of urgency.
- Work in partnership with key P&CB Partners (Advice Center, Sales, Personal Financing Products, etc.) to identify and recommend solutions that are flexible, resilient, secure, dependable, ensuring our Information Technology is aligned to meet our business requirements to make RBC a Digitally Enabled Relationship Bank...
- Acts as regional lead to facilitate transit hierarchy or RTAM changes.
- Prioritize insights generated through client data analytical process by: Understanding and identifying business needs, Leveraging analytical framework, summarizing key findings and bridge the gap between data analysis and decisioning
