**Job Description: Business Owner/Operator for Home Healthcare Business**
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual to take on the role of **Business Owner/Operator** for our home healthcare business. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is not just looking for a job, but is ready to **build and grow a business** from the ground up.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Business Development**: Identify and build relationships with key suppliers and service providers for home healthcare products and services. This includes finding reliable suppliers, negotiating terms, and opening accounts.
- **Operations Management**: Oversee daily business operations, ensuring efficient delivery of healthcare services. Manage staff, budgets, and schedules, while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- **Market Expansion**: Develop and implement strategies to grow the business by attracting new clients, expanding service offerings, and increasing revenue.
- **Financial Oversight**: Establish and monitor financial goals, ensuring profitability while maintaining high-quality service. Handle invoicing, payroll, and financial reporting.
- **Customer Relationships**: Build long-term relationships with clients, caregivers, and families, ensuring the highest standards of care and customer satisfaction.
- **Compliance and Quality Control**: Ensure all operations are compliant with provincial and federal healthcare regulations. Maintain quality assurance processes for all service offerings.
- **Coordination of Home Care Products**: Work closely with **occupational therapists** to assess client needs and coordinate the purchase, delivery, and installation of specialized home care products such as **patient lifts**, **bathroom renovations**, and other accessibility equipment.
- **Project Management**: Manage the logistics of the installation process, ensuring smooth and timely execution of home modifications and product setups, while maintaining client satisfaction.
- A **self-starter** with entrepreneurial drive and the ability to make decisions, solve problems, and take initiative in all aspects of business development and operations.
- **Proven experience in the home healthcare industry**, Understanding of Alberta Aids to Daily Living (AADL) requirement’s, a solid understanding of how to find suppliers, establish accounts, and manage vendor relationships.
- **Experience working with occupational therapists** to assess client needs for home modifications and the purchase of healthcare products.
- Strong experience in **coordinating** **the installation of home care products**, including the installation of lifts, ramps, bathroom renovations, and other accessibility equipment.
- Proven ability to oversee multiple aspects of the business simultaneously, while maintaining high levels of organization and attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen, including experience in **financial management, marketing, and operations**.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage clients, staff, and suppliers.
- A passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.

Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
