**SCOPE**

LEAP leads the world in the development and sale of cloud-based legal practice management software for small law firms on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model. We employ more than 800 people globally and have offices in the USA, Australia and the UK with more than 57,000 users using our software worldwide. We are seeking a Business Development Team Lead to join our highly motivated, high velocity and growing team based in our Toronto office. LEAP will provide you with the best training, equipment, mentoring and support for you to be successful.

**This role will be fully remote, and there will be monthly travel to our Head Office in Toronto.

**THE ROLE**

This role works closely with the Sales Operations Manager to identify new approaches to increase productivity within our New Business teams. People management experience is key here, as the role holds overall responsibility for the team of inside sales professionals and is accountable for the number of qualified demonstrations booked and held, and mapping call volumes for the differing provinces. Strong communication skills are essential as this role facilitates the information flow between inside sales and direct sales teams.

Ultimately The Business Development Team Lead is responsible for driving the results of a BDR team through recruiting, training, organizing, coordinating, measuring, coaching, problem-solving, and leading

- Hire, coach, motivate and manage a team of Business Development Representatives.
- Develop the product knowledge, and sales skills of each team member.
- Provide accurate reporting on the team and individual results.
- Identify areas for improvement and efficiency in order to increase productivity.
- An ability to quickly build strong relationships.
- Impeccable presentation skills.
- Experience in a high-volume sales environment.
- Experience in recruiting and managing sales teams.
- Understanding of sales processes.
- Never give up attitude.
