**Innovative Learning** is dedicated to the development and enhancement of teaching innovation and learning across the institution. The department provides a place for conversation and inspiration, to energize and mobilize innovative and evidence-informed teaching practices. in polytechnic education. Innovative Learning is comprised of three key areas that each play a strategic role in developing, delivering, and assessing Humber’s learning innovation ecosystem. The areas are: Teaching Excellence; Digital Learning; and Flexible Learning.

**Position Title**: Project Analyst, Special Projects

**Status**:1 year Admin contract

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Faculty/Department**: Centre for Innovative Learning (CIL)

**Campus**:North Campus

**Payband/ Salary Range**: NFT Admin 04 $62,722 - $94,084

**What you will do**:
Under the direction of the Dean, Innovative Learning, the Project Analyst is responsible for the efficient and effective administration of projects that impact departments in across the organization, and will liaise with faculty, staff, students and external partners to deliver the project on time. The incumbent will be engaged in projects including, but not limited to, hardware, software, infrastructure and business process projects. The Project Analyst will be working with Centre for Innovative Learning management and with staff to refine and clarify project scope and objectives, identify all linkages and dependencies with other projects and develop strategies to successfully achieve project results.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills;
- Outstanding leadership skills, combined with respect for decision-making through consultation and consensus-building, are also required;
- Honesty, integrity and a combination of education, experience, and achievements that will enhance the ability to communicate a vision and command respect within the college are essential;
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities;
- The capacity to interact effectively with mid-level College officials as well as unionized and non-unionized staff is essential;
- Ability to work with a variety of project management tools including Microsoft project;
- Ability to adapt to an environment where change is frequent, and process ambiguity exists;
- Knowledge of post-secondary curriculum considered an asset
