**Position Summary**

The Program Manager, Birthing Program, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Centre, & Simcoe Muskoka Regional Eating Disorder Program is responsible for working collaboratively with the Program Director and Program Medical Director to provide leadership congruent with the Vision, Mission, Values and Strategic Objectives of the organization. The Program Manager fosters partnerships with internal and external stakeholders that promote safe, effective, evidence-based, and quality outcomes in a patient-focused environment. Additionally, this role is accountable for program planning, resource allocation, utilization, monitoring indicators and creation of a supportive working environment.

**Qualifications**

**Education**:

- Current Certificate of Registration or applicable professional license required
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, Health Administration or related field is required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Additional management/leadership courses would be an asset

**Experience**:

- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience, preferably in neonatal or related healthcare settings
- Experience with healthcare related to sexual assault considered an asset
- Experience with eating disorders considered an asset
- Three (3) to five (5) years in progressively responsible leadership roles
- Experience in interdisciplinary team management
- Familiarity with the principles of family-centered care preferred, aimed at enhancing the birthing program experience

- Demonstrated proven ability to be accountable and foster accountability in others
- Demonstrated participatory leadership style which includes approachability, visibility and accessibility
- Demonstrated ability to monitor, analyze and evaluate operational/capital budgets
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively in partnerships/relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to appropriately delegate
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislative requirements, medical/legal issues and commitment to remaining abreast of changes
- Demonstrated appreciation and respect for protocol, professionalism and confidentiality

- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to provide leadership off-site
