Workday Project Lead

In this global role, the Workday Project Lead reports into HR Operations through the People Data Architecture Manager and works closely with IT to align technical solutions with business needs. The Workday Project Lead may have supervisory responsibility, possibly acting as coach and mentor to junior members. In addition, the Workday Project Lead works with others at every level of the organization executing strategic imperatives.

Skills and experiences
- Experience with complex system integration infrastructure with a variety of data transfer methods.
- Agile / Scrum Project Management is required
- The ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture
- Experience deploying both business and IT initiatives, as well as modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
- Strong experience with project/product managing Workday HCM implementations for medium or large enterprise organizations with a Workday partner firm
- Experience with at least two HCM functional areas: Core HCM, Benefits, Talent Management, Payroll, Compensation, or Absence Management

- Fluent English - Written and Verbal
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization
- Team player able to work effectively with all levels of an organization with the ability to execute simple and moderate changes
- Situational analysis and decision-making abilities. Problem Solving is a must
- Detail oriented and technically adept
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, integrity and availability of data
What you'll do
- Manage multiple Workday projects across the organization and different functional areas.
- Research internal and external best practices for issues and solutions.
- Analyze our business problems, with consideration of policies and legal requirements to provide the best possible recommendations.
- Maintain data inventory and data flow diagrams provide the information and tools necessary to properly make decisions about data policies, standards and implementation.
- Identify any gaps in accountability and ownership.
- Support policies and principles designed and enforced to ensure that best practices are followed for any new technology implementation.
- Test our ecosystem to ensure stability.
