**Director of Marketing Solutions**

Establishing trust with our customers, partners, and all Ontarians is essential to gaining their support for the infrastructure, technologies and programs needed to meet the growing demand for electricity and achieve a net-zero future. With emotional factors accounting for 46% of brand impressions in the utility industry, Hydro One must foster trust through genuine connections that make people feel understood and valued.

The Director of Marketing Solutions will work in partnership with the VP of Marketing to execute on the company’s new customer-centric brand strategy through integrated marketing solutions that elevate the marketing team from a traditional, supporting function to strategic driver of business outcomes.

**Responsibilities**
- Support the VP in providing strategic counsel to senior stakeholders, translating business objectives into effective marketing strategies.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Corporate Communications to set annual priorities, develop an in-take process for client requests, allocate resources, budget and timelines.
- Ensure marketing activities are aligned with the clients’ goals and expectations, ensuring the integration of brand positioning, audience segmentation and customer journey optimization.
- Oversee the development, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns that span traditional, digital, and emerging platforms.
- Lead cross-functional teams of marketing professionals, providing mentorship, guidance and professional development opportunities.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between creative, digital, content marketing and analytics to deliver effective marketing solutions.
- Collaborate with the VP and senior leadership to define marketing goals and KPIs. Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.
- Manage vendor contracts and relationships, negotiating to ensure maximum ROI.

**Qualifications**:

- Data-driven mindset with proven experience developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels that drive business growth.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in leading brand marketing is an asset
