**Job Description**:
The purpose of the role of VP, Client Leadership is to build strong relationships with clients and to support senior leadership to drive and deliver on a client business plan that delivers business value for the client while driving new growth opportunities for dentsu.

Delivery of a business and client relationship plan will include exciting a broad team across dentsu and where appropriate across the network to meet the objectives of both clients and the business. This role reports directly to the CCO of dentsu X and is a member of the SLT for media at dentsu Canada.
- Overall leadership of significant client/group of clients including forging relationships with maturity, radical collaboration and kindness and supporting the clients’ goals with a focus on business outcomes.
- Managing the Business - delivery of the service proposition to clients and full end to end management of the business on individual clients including mitigating issues, solving for new ways of working and being commercially responsible for the account to drive gross margin and growth. This role is also responsible for the operational finance of the client’s investment with dentsu. From time to time, this role will support dentsu on new business opportunities.
- Relationship Management - ownership of the senior client relationships as per the defined relationship strategy for the client to support dentsu in adding additional service and organic opportunities in products as well as CXM and creative.
- Team Management - leadership of an integrated and motivated team rooted in radical collaboration. This also requires team members are receiving career and development feedback and factoring in talent transitions, succession planning and team design.
- Strong marketing, media, and communications experience
- Holistic view of 360 media but also willing to challenge the status quo.
- Ability to provide guidance rooted in business outcome for client and dentsu.
- Expert in commercial finance as a client/account leader.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Media, Advertising, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Strategic client leadership with 10+ years’ experience
- Influential senior people leader with the ability to lead, coach and develop and retain top talent while addressing performance.
- Knowledge of bid management, campaign management and optimization process with key Data, Supply and DSP partners.
- Previous experience with support new business efforts at the Network or brand level.
- Subject matter expert in developing media planning strategies that meet and exceed client campaign goals and objectives.
- Experience in retail, telecom, or financial services as a client/account leader
