As part of the growth of our **Monitoring** and **Consulting** divisions, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic **Technician** to join our **Montreal** team. If you want to leverage your technical skills and enjoy working outdoors, this opportunity is for you

**Your Responsibilities**
- Conduct **site visits, installations, calibrations, and field missions** (measurement collection, commissioning, and system configuration).
- Perform **environmental sampling** outdoors using various acoustic and vibration measurement instruments.
- Assist in **analyzing collected data** and preparing reports.
- Support the **management and maintenance of Soft dB's equipment**.
- Conduct **on-site or remote construction site monitoring**.
- Carry out **other tasks related to fieldwork or equipment management**.
- Participate in **continuous improvement projects**.
- Occasionally, travel to other Soft dB offices (Malartic, Quebec City, Toronto) for specific assignments.

**Ideal Profile**

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum **2 years of experience** as a field technician or equivalent.

**Technical and Interpersonal Skills**
- Detail-oriented, **reliable, autonomous, proactive, and curious**.
- Proficient in **Microsoft Office Suite** and project management software.
- Strong **time management and multitasking abilities**.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with professionals across different industries.
- Strong **planning, data analysis, and problem-solving skills**.
- Excellent **oral and written communication skills** (French and English).
- Ability to work effectively both **independently and as part of a team**.
- **Customer-oriented mindset** with strong interpersonal skills.
- **Hands-on and mechanically inclined**.
- Capable of **lifting and transporting heavy equipment** (batteries, solar panels, heavy-duty tripods).
- Willing to **travel frequently** as part of weekly assignments.
- **Valid driver’s license required**.

**Other Requirements**
- **Physically fit** and comfortable working outside year-round.
- **Valid Class 5 driver’s license**.
- **Technical training in environmental science, acoustics, vibrations, or related fields (an asset)**.
- **ASP Construction safety card (an asset)**.
- Comfortable working **at heights occasionally**.
