**Brief**

We are looking for an accounting clerk to work within the Hastec Group Central Services Division.

This individual will be responsible for carrying out various accounting procedures and activities to support the order fulfillment process of the company.

They will liaise with various team members/departments such as order processing, purchasing, shipping, inventory control and receiving to ensure transactions internal and external to the company are facilitated in a timely manner.

**Pre Requisites/Qualifications**
- Must be trained in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks. Additional knowledge in AccountEdge and general MRP software would be an asset.
- Post Secondary Education in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- 2-5 years previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field

**Responsibilities**:

- Accounts receivable & payable invoice entry in QuickBooks
- Recording receipt of goods from purchase orders into accounting software
- Entry of freight bills and assigning costs to various accounting software
- Filing of customer & vendor files
- Weekly finance, operations and shipping analysis / reporting KPI
- Tracking company monthly credit card statements
- Tracking employee timesheets

**Other Details**
- Part time employment opportunity (3 days per week) eventually to move to full time (5 days per week)
- Hours: 8:30-5:00

**Salary**: $20.00-$26.38 per hour
