**Technical Proposal Writer - Part Time**

We are a fast-growing organization, currently seeking a Technical Proposal Writer to be a key member of our high-achieving, diverse, innovating team.

**The Opportunity**:
The Technical Proposal Writer will support a growing team in three areas of business growth: 1) Identify RFPs, lead scoping and the development, writing of technical proposals and documentation. 2) Support the team by scoping and drafting SOWs, change orders, etc. 3) Support marketing and sales with research, design and writing industry reports for thought leadership.

We are looking for a hard-working, hyper-detail-oriented, creative individual with a passion for studying, learning, and writing about new technologies and solutions for capital projects.

**This is a Part-Time, non-remote position based in downtown Toronto.
**Role Description:
- Work with our Director, Marketing and Senior Management team to identify, review, respond to RFPs. Work with this cross-functional team to scope and draft all documentation for submissions.
- Obtain a deep understanding of the business and services related to capital projects to translate complex information into simple, polished, and engaging content and documentation in a variety of mediums.
- Work with the Director, Marketing to design, research, draft compelling industry reports and analysis for the purpose of thought leadership.
- Maintain consistency and continuity of style in communication and able to adjust voice and tone while writing.
- Support other team members and projects by reviewing written deliverables as needed.
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative strategies for improvement.
- Edit, and proofread documents written by others as needed.
- Research and incorporate current trends, delivery models and best practices into communications materials.
- Support creation and review of professional written material such as Request for Proposal (RFP), Contracts, Service Requests, and other project related company documentation.
- Support creation and review of copy, marketing, or other types of written deliverables as needed.
- Complete ad-hoc tasks and administrative work as needed.

**Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience writing RFPs required
- A post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Technical writing certificate or diploma is a plus but not required.
- 3-5 year working experience in technical writing.
- Experience with MERX, BIDDINGO and SAM required.
- Impeccable writing, editing and proofreading skills accompanied by a superior attention to detail.
- Experience with Marketing is an asset.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable in a variety of visual formats.
- Highly creative yet solution oriented.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal English skills.
- Technology-savvy.
- Familiarity with Consulting is considered a plus.
- This is a part-time in-office non-remote position based in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
