**Position Title**: Group Administration Support

**Reports To**: Manager, Group Benefits Administration

**Department**: Group Benefits Administration

**Term**: Temporary, Part-time - 12 Month Contract

**Schedule**: Minimum 16.5 hours per week

**Work Arrangements**: We are currently working remotely, and we will be moving to a hybrid model when our office renovation is complete (approximately September 2023), coming into the office a minimum of 2 days per week, every other week on designated days.

**The Opportunity**: Equitable Life is looking to hire a Group Administration Support staff to join our team We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and an ability to problem solve independently. **What you will be doing**:

- Update and validate plan member and plan sponsor information
- Update banking information, in accordance with external vendors' guidelines
- Terminate and reinstate plan members, divisions and group contracts to ensure that only eligible claims are paid, including the collection of any resulting overpayments

**What you will bring**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, utilizing research skills
- Excellent knowledge and experience with MS office in particular Excel and Word
- Ability to handle high volume of work within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities and prioritization skills
- Logical reasoning abilities in relation to business accounting and practices
