**Job Description**:
**AECOM **Calgary is looking for an Environmental Scientist to join its Remediation team. This is a **Full-time **role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Support a wide range of environmental investigation and remediation projects.
- Contribute directly to the preparation of technical project deliverables (e.g., work plans, remedial investigations, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments).
- Conduct soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion sampling
- Job duties will involve both field work and office assignments with occasional overnight travel required.
- Preparing, work plans, and technical reports, and presentations for technical meetings with clients and regulators.
- Actively communicating with the technical team and Project Manger.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum requirements**:

- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant technical discipline, including but not limited to geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or environmental engineering.
- 2+ years of experience as an environmental consultant, industry representative, or regulator versed in contaminated site investigation, remediation, and/or waste management.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of experience in field activities (Phase I site visits, drilling, groundwater sampling, vapour sampling, etc.)
- Experience developing and preparing Phase I and Phase II reports for submittal and acceptance for technical clients and regulators.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with clients and project team.
- Ability to prepare graphics and reports that present complex technical matter in a clear and concise manner
- Computer proficient in MS Office, and a variety of statistical programs helpful.
- Strong team worker, flexible
- physically capable of completing field work in urban and rural settings.
- Attention to detail and a thorough approach to work
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
